Abstract:
Provided is a display control circuit that can create an apparent display of an image with brightness that is the same or close to a brightness corresponding to a current frame gradation value by carrying out overshooting drive. Two OS tables, an OS table set such that a write gradation value is higher than the current frame gradation value and an OS table set such that the write gradation value is lower than the current frame gradation value, are prepared for the OS table used when carrying out overshooting drive. By carrying out overshooting drive using these two OS tables alternately, the gradation value for the image displayed undergoes apparent averaging, and a viewer can see as if the image with the current frame gradation value is displayed.
