Disclosed is a display control device for an elevator. When displaying a variety of videos on a monitor in accordance with the movements of the elevator, said monitor being provided in the elevator car or where the elevator is boarded, the disclosed display control device can prevent screen adjustment mistakes while minimizing the time that screen adjustments take. The display control device is provided with a display-switching control unit and a screen-adjustment unit. Information regarding the movements of the elevator is inputted to the display-switching control device, and in accordance with the elevator movements, the display-switching control device selects a specific video from among a plurality of videos inputted from each of a plurality of video input devices. The display-switching control device thus changes the video displayed on the monitor provided in the elevator car or where the elevator is boarded. On the basis of preset information regarding the necessity of screen adjustment, the screen-adjustment unit determines whether or not screen adjustments need to be performed on the video selected by the display-switching control device and displayed on the monitor.
