Abstract:

The present invention reduces crosstalk.　In the present invention, one or more processors acquire information indicating that the eye position of a viewer has crossed between visual fields E or information indicating a situation in which the eye position of the viewer is likely to cross between the visual fields E, and switch from a first display mode to a second display mode when it is determined that the eye position of the viewer has crossed between or is likely to cross between the visual fields E. The number of visual fields E to which image light of a left-eye image is directed and/or the number of visual fields E to which image light of a left-eye image is directed is smaller in the second display mode than in the first display mode.
