Abstract:
A display control device mounted in a vehicle, the display control device comprising: an irradiation control unit (31) which controls an irradiation unit (41) that irradiates a road surface with reference light; and a projection control unit (32) which controls a projection unit (5) that projects an image on a reflecting unit (6) for reflecting the image. The irradiation control unit (31) instructs the irradiation unit (41) to radiate reference light corresponding to preset irradiation distance information. The projection control unit (32) instructs the projection unit (5) to project the image so that a virtual image corresponding to the irradiation distance information is visible to a vehicle occupant, and controls the projection position and size of the image to be projected by the projection unit (5) on the basis of the occupant's instructions.
