Abstract:
This display control device is provided with a detection unit that detects the status of a moving body, and a control unit that, on the basis of the detection results from the detection unit, controls a display mode of a display unit, said display unit having a transparent mode in which external scenery of the moving body is displayed in at least one portion of a display screen. The display unit has said transparent mode and a non-transparent mode in which a content video is superimposed on at least one portion of the external scenery or the content video is displayed on the entire display screen, and the control unit sets the display unit to either the transparent mode or the non-transparent mode in accordance with the detection results from the detection unit.
