Abstract:
The present technology relates to a display control device, display control method, and program which make it possible to suppress disturbance, etc. in images when an image transmitted from a data transmission path is displayed with low delay. A first calculation unit calculates a permitted delay time representing the delay time permitted when writing cannot be finished in a predetermined required time, from a writing start time at which image writing started. A second calculation unit calculates a required time which is required at least from the writing start time of an image written with a delay time that is equal to or less than the permitted delay time, to a display timing at which display of the image is started. A comparison unit compares the permitted delay time and the required time. A display adjustment unit adjusts the display timing based on the comparison result of the comparison unit. A display control unit displays the image synchronously with the adjusted display timing. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a display device for displaying transmitted image data with low delay.
