Abstract:
Provided is a display control device (10), which senses a change of a screen and, according to the sensed change of the screen, executes one or both of: a provisional update process wherein a long and narrow rectangular region which sweeps either vertically or horizontally is generated on the basis of the location of an icon which is displayed in the screen, a region which is similar to a designated image template is searched for from the screen with the rectangular region as a search region, and an icon is overlay displayed upon the similar region; and an official update process wherein a region similar to the image template is searched for with a region bigger than the search region of the provisional update process as a search region, and an icon is overlay displayed upon the location corresponding to the similar region.
