Abstract:
A display control method and apparatus for a skill indicator, and an electronic device. The method comprises: in response to a touch-control operation for a skill control, acquiring the current touch-control position of the skill control, wherein the current touch-control position is located in a first direction relative to a specified position; on the plane of a scene picture, determining an object position of a controlled virtual object, and generating a reference line segment in the first direction relative to the object position, wherein the length of the reference line segment matches a farthest release position of a target skill in a virtual scene; and determining a target position in the reference line segment according to the current touch-control position, determining a target mapping position of the target position in the virtual scene, and controlling, at the target mapping position, a skill indicator which displays the target skill. In this way, the sense of following of control of a player touch controlling a skill control can be improved, such that the player can accurately control a release position of a skill, thereby improving the interaction experience of a game, reducing the operation duration of a terminal device, and saving on the electric quantity of the terminal device.
