Abstract:
This display control system (1) for a vehicle comprises: an HCU (100) having a data processing unit (102) that processes sensing data in a vehicle, and an image generation unit (101) that generates vehicle image data relating to the vehicle on the basis of the sensing data acquired by the data processing unit (102); an MID (110) that displays the vehicle image data generated by the image generation unit (101); a first communication path (5) that connects the image generation unit (101) and the MID (110) so as to enable communication of data; and a second communication path (6) that connects the data processing unit (102) and the MID (110) so as to enable communication of data. When an abnormality is detected in the data acquired through the first communication path (5), the MID (110) generates and displays simple image data having a smaller amount of data than the vehicle image data, the simple image data being generated on the basis of the sensing data acquired from the data processing unit (102) through the second communication path (6).
