A display device and a control method therefor, relating to the technical field of display. The display device comprises a display panel (21), a micro-lens assembly (22) and a lens assembly (23). The micro-lens assembly (22) comprises at least three micro-lens arrays (221); the at least three micro-lens arrays (221) are sequentially arranged in a direction distant from the center (z) of a display area (q); and the micro-lens arrays (221) are configured to reduce light-exit angles of light beams passing through the micro-lens arrays (221), such that the light-exit angles of the light beams passing through the micro-lens arrays (221) are less than or equal to maximum values of corresponding light-exit angles. The ranges of light-exit angles of light beams exited from a plurality of areas starting from the center (z) of the display area (q) are respectively adjusted by the at least three micro lens arrays (221), such that the ranges of the light-exit angles of the areas of the display panel (21) can be controlled, the problem of poor imaging effect of a light beam projected by the lens assembly (23) is solved, and the display effect can be improved.
