Abstract:
A display device according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: a receiving unit which receives a video signal input from an input terminal that corresponds to an external output, and receives a timing signal corresponding to the video signal; a video processing unit which processes a video signal input from an input terminal that does not correspond to the external output, and processes a video signal that is obtained from the receiving unit and is input from the input terminal that corresponds to the external output; and a control unit which, when processing the high-speed input switching function of switching between the video signal input from the input terminal that does not correspond to the external output and the video signal input from the input terminal that corresponds to the external output, acquires a timing signal supplied from the receiving unit as a timing signal corresponding to a hidden video signal in a state in which a displayed video is the video signal input from the input terminal that does not correspond to the external output and the receiving unit acquires the hidden video signal input from the input terminal that does not correspond to the external output.
