Abstract:
A display device, comprising a display panel (1) and a pattern recognition light-emitting substrate (2) located on the light-emitting side of the display panel (1). A plurality of photosensitive devices (7) for pattern recognition are arranged in the display panel (1). The pattern recognition light-emitting substrate (2) comprises a base and electroluminescent point light sources (16) arranged on the base and corresponding to the photosensitive devices (7). A driving method for a display device, comprising: determining whether to perform pattern recognition, and when determining to perform pattern recognition, controlling electroluminescent point light sources (16) in a pattern recognition light-emitting substrate to emit light; collecting signals fed back by photosensitive devices (7) for pattern recognition; and setting the type of light emitted from the electroluminescent point light sources (16) and a display panel (1), and when performing pattern recognition, controlling the display panel (1) to stop emitting light or to keep emitting light. The light sources for pattern recognition are set as point light sources, reducing signal cross-interference between a pattern valley and a pattern ridge and improving the effect and reliability of pattern recognition.
