Abstract:
Disclosed is a display device wherein: pixels each of which includes a plurality of sub-pixels are provided; each of the sub-pixels has a light emitting region and a non-light emitting region, i.e., a region other than the light emitting region; the light emitting region has one or a plurality of effective light emitting sections each of which has a first electrode, a light emitting layer, and a second electrode, which are sequentially laminated therein, and an optical guide section that is provided on the light extraction side of the one or the plurality of effective light emitting sections.
