Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a display device equipped with a touch panel in which it is possible to obtain a desired touch detection performance even in the case of a panel having increased size and resolution. This display device equipped with a touch panel is provided with an active matrix substrate (1). The active matrix substrate (1) is provided with a plurality of pixel electrodes, a plurality of opposing electrodes (21),and an insulating film (46) provided between the pixel electrodes and the opposing electrodes (21), said elements being provided on a substrate (40). The active matrix substrate (1) is also provided with a plurality of signal lines (22) connected to one of the plurality of opposing electrodes (21), a plurality of switching elements connected to each of the plurality of pixel electrodes, and an organic insulating film (45) provided between the pixel electrodes and the signal lines (22) and switching elements. The signal lines (22) are in contact with the substrate (40).
