Abstract:
A display device uses a cold cathode fluorescent lamp as a light source. The display
device includes: an inclination detection unit which detects that one end of
the cold cathode fluorescent lamp is arranged at a higher position than the other
end; and a control unit which performs control to suppress the emission luminance
of the cold cathode fluorescent lamp when the inclination detection unit has
detected the state that one end of the cold cathode fluorescent lamp is arranged
at a higher position than the other end.
