Abstract:
Provided are: a display device that is able to facilitate downsizing of the pixel size or the panel size; and a manufacturing method for the device. A display device (100) comprises a first semiconductor substrate (101) and a second semiconductor substrate (102). The first semiconductor substrate (101) has a light emitting unit (21) and a first drive circuit (221) for driving the light emitting unit (21). The second semiconductor substrate (102) has a second drive circuit (222) electrically connected to the first drive circuit (221), and joined to the first semiconductor substrate (101).
