A display device (2) is provided with: a supporting material (10); a TFT layer (4) that includes a plurality of inorganic insulating films (16, 18, 20); a light emitting element layer (5); and a sealing layer (6). A slit pattern (SP) penetrating the inorganic insulating films (16, 18, 20) is formed in an area, which is on the outer side of a display region (DA) but on the inner side of an edge (10e) of the supporting material in a plan view.
