Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a display panel (1) in which a plurality of independent display drivable regions (1a), for which independent display drive is possible by each having an independent signal line and scanning line, are formed on a single substrate; and a plurality of display drive circuit units (11) each of which is provided for each of the independent display drivable regions (1a) on the back surface side of the display panel (1), which is on the side opposite of the display surface, and each of which drives the display of the corresponding independent display drivable region (1a) by driving the signal lines and scanning lines in the independent display drivable region (1a).
