Abstract:
This display device comprises: a display unit that displays an image; a plurality of imaging units provided to a display screen of the display unit, the imaging units capturing images of a user positioned in the direction of the display screen; a display control unit that causes the display unit to display an image of another user conversing with the user; a face detection unit that detects the face of the other user, including the eyes of the other user, from the image of the other user that is displayed by the display unit; an imaging control unit that controls the imaging units provided near the region of the eyes of the other user that is displayed on the display unit and causes the imaging units to capture images of the user; and a communication control unit that transmits the image of the user captured by the imaging units provided near the region of the eyes of the other user.
