Abstract:
The present invention provides a high-definition or high-resolution display device. This display device comprises a first light emitting device, a second light emitting device, a first insulating layer, a first colored layer and a second colored layer. The first light emitting device comprises a first pixel electrode, a first EL layer and a common electrode sequentially stacked upon each other in this order; the second light emitting device comprises a second pixel electrode, a second EL layer and the common electrode sequentially stacked upon each other in this order; the first colored layer overlaps with the first light emitting device; the second colored layer, which transmits light of a different color from the first colored layer, overlaps with the second light emitting device; the first EL layer and the second EL layer have the same configuration, while being separated from each other; an end of the first EL layer is positioned on the first pixel electrode; an end of the second EL layer is positioned on the second pixel electrode; the first insulating layer covers the lateral surfaces of the first pixel electrode, the second pixel electrode, the first EL layer and the second EL layer; and the common electrode is positioned on the first insulating layer.
