Abstract:
A display device where operation means is allocated to each of a driver seat side
occupant and front passenger seat side occupant and the means are separately
operable by the occupants during dual view display. A control section (10) determines
to which one of a driver seat side screen and a front passenger seat screen is operation
of the operation means by each occupant effective. Also, the device limits operation
by an occupant to whom touch operation means is allocated, and the limitation
is made by setting whether the device is permitted or prohibited to receive an
input from the occupant. By doing so, an unintended influence by the other occupant
to the screen is avoided.
