Abstract:
Provided are the following: a display unit having a display region for displaying a two-dimensional image; and an optical element configured by disposing a plurality of structures for separating the image displayed on the display region into images to be observed at predetermined observation positions lined up at intervals in the horizontal direction. Pixels are disposed on the display region in the shape of a matrix in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, and pixels of different planar shapes are disposed at constant periods in each line. The structures of the optical element are disposed so as to be inclined at a slope that satisfies (J+0.5)/3 (where J is an integer of 3 or greater), in units of the number of pixels, with respect to the vertical direction.
