Abstract:
The present invention enables appropriate use of a display device even when a problem has occurred. The repair method of the present invention is a repair method for a display device provided with: a plurality of inorganic light-emitting bodies arranged in a matrix shape; and a counter electrode that is provided at a side in the advancing direction of light emitted by the inorganic light-emitting bodies, and that is connected to the plurality of inorganic light-emitting bodies. The repair method comprises: a detection step for detecting a defective inorganic light-emitting body, which is an inorganic light-emitting body that has become defective; and a removal step for irradiating a target portion of the counter electrode with light, the target portion including a portion between a portion connected to the defective inorganic light-emitting body and a portion connected to the inorganic light-emitting body adjacent to the defective inorganic light-emitting body, and for removing the target portion while leaving and not removing the defective inorganic light-emitting body.
