Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a display device and a display system for providing lyrics regardless of the connection state of an external device when playing music through the external device. The present disclosure comprises: a display unit; a control unit for receiving a music playback command through an external device; and an audio output unit for outputting music received from the external device, wherein the control unit can request lyric information from the external device upon receiving the music playback command, and can output music and display lyrics through the display unit upon receiving the lyric information from the external device.
