Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a display device which can fix a light guide plate and a display panel with a simple configuration. This display device is provided with a display panel (2) on the front surface of which an image is displayed, and a light guide plate (41) which is arranged with one surface facing the back surface of the display panel (2) and which emits irradiation light from said one surface onto the back surface of the display panel (2). The display panel (2) and the light guide plate (41) of the display device are fixed by bonding together the peripheral edges of each, wherein said display panel (2) and light guide plate (41) are separated by a gap between the facing surfaces thereof, in which an optical sheet (3) is interposed.
