Abstract:
This display device for a vehicle comprises: a display unit (10) installed in the vehicle; a driver information acquisition unit (43) that acquires the position of the viewpoint of a driver, or the position of a viewpoint-related area which moves together with the viewpoint of the driver; an image data acquisition unit (41) that acquires image data for producing a display image to be displayed on the display unit; and a rendering processing unit (44) that produces the display image on the basis of the image data and that displays the display image on the display unit. The image data is divided into movement suppression image data and movement promotion image data. The rendering processing unit determines, on the basis of an amount of change in the position of the viewpoint-related area, a movement amount of a display image that is produced from the movement promotion image data, and the rendering processing unit increases this movement amount so that the amount is greater than a movement amount of a display image produced from the movement suppression image data.
