Abstract:
Provided is a small display device for vehicles. A display device 100 for vehicles is provided with: a display 120 that outputs display light L toward a windshield 210; a housing 110 that houses the display 120; a light transmitting section 115a, which is provided as a part of the upper surface of the housing 110, and which transmits the display light L to the outside of the housing 110; and an optical system 220, which is provided below the display 120, and which guides the display light L to the light transmitting section 115a. The display 120 is provided on the side of the light transmitting section 115a, said display being at a height that is same as that of at least a part of the light transmitting section 115a.
