Abstract:
Disclosed is a display device which has a touch panel and a function of displaying a stereoscopic image and can be reduced in thickness and weight. The display device comprises a liquid crystal display panel (20), a switching liquid crystal panel (30) which is arranged on the displaying surface side of the liquid crystal display panel (20) and can switch between two-dimensional display and three-dimensional display; and a touch panel (50) which is arranged on the displaying surface side of the liquid crystal display panel (20). The display device is characterized in that the touch panel (50) and the switching liquid crystal panel (30) share a common substrate (32) so as to be formed as an integrated component, and the common substrate (32) has, formed thereon, a transparent electrode (51) for the touch panel and a transparent electrode (33) for the switching liquid crystal panel (30), wherein the transparent electrode (33) serves the purpose of applying a voltage to a liquid crystal in the switching liquid crystal panel (30).
