Abstract:
Provided is a display device whereby the brightness of a screen in each display device constituting a multi-screen display device can be automatically corrected. A display device according to the present invention is used as a multi-screen display device constructed by juxtaposing a plurality of said display devices. The display device is provided with a display unit for displaying an image, a sensor for detecting the brightness of the display unit, a storage unit for storing a value of brightness in the initial state of the display unit, a communication unit for acquiring the amount of brightness change from the output value of the sensor and the value of brightness in the initial state stored in the storage unit, and notifying the other display devices constituting the multi-screen display device of the acquired amount of brightness change while receiving from the other display devices the amount of brightness change in the other display devices, and a control unit for acquiring a difference between the amount of brightness change of its own device and the maximum amount of brightness change among the amounts of brightness change in the other display devices, and acquiring the amount of correction for correcting the brightness of the display unit from the difference, then decreasing the brightness of the display unit on the basis of the amount of correction.
