A display device, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises a display panel and a backlight unit for providing light from the lower side of the display panel, and the backlight unit comprises: a bottom cover; a light source module which is mounted on the bottom cover and includes a plurality of light sources and a circuit board on which the plurality of light sources are mounted; a reflective layer mounted on the upper side of the light source module so as to reflect the light emitted by the plurality of light sources towards the display panel; a light-shielding layer disposed at a position separated upwards from the reflective layer and having a plurality of patterned holes such that only a portion of the light reflected from the reflective layer passes through; and a spacer interposed between the reflective layer and the light-shielding layer so as to form a light guiding layer with a vacant space between the reflective layer and the light-shielding layer and to maintain the uniform height of the light guiding layer.
