Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a display device with which parasitic capacitance between wires can be reduced, to provide a display device having improved display quality, and to provide a display device with which power consumption can be reduced. This display device has signal lines (121), scan lines (103), first electrodes (123), second electrodes (125a), third electrodes (125b), first pixel electrodes (139a), second pixel electrodes (139b), and semiconductor films (135). The signal lines intersect the scan lines. The first electrodes are electrically connected to the signal lines, the first electrodes having areas superimposed on the scan lines. The second electrodes face the first electrodes, and the third electrodes face the first electrodes. The first pixel electrodes are electrically connected to the second electrodes, and the second pixel electrodes are electrically connected to the third electrodes. The semiconductor films contact the first electrodes, the second electrodes, and the third electrodes, the semiconductor films being provided between the scan lines, and the first to third electrodes.
