Abstract:
The purpose of one embodiment of the present invention is to provide a display device in which a frame is narrowed. A display device according to the present embodiment is provided with: a sheet-like display panel having a first region that includes a display region and a second region and a third region that are non-display regions; and a support base material that is adhered to the display panel. The direction in which the first region and the second region are adjacent to each other is a first direction, and the direction in which the first region and the third region are adjacent to each other is a second direction intersecting with the first direction. The support base material has: a first support part that is superimposed on the first region; and a second support part and a third support part that are superimposed on the second region; a fourth support part and a fifth support part that are superimposed on the third region; a first groove between the first support part and the second support part; a second groove between the second support part and the third support part; a third groove between the first support part and the fourth support part; and a fourth groove between the fourth support part and the fifth support part. The first groove and the second groove extend along the second direction, and the third groove and the fourth groove extend along the first direction.
