Abstract:
A display device (1) comprises a display panel (2) and a backlight module (3). The display panel (2) comprises a subpixel (4) and a light-shielding layer (5) surrounding the subpixel (4). One side of the light-shielding layer (5) close to the backlight module (3) is provided with a reflective nano-grating (6). A backlight source provided to the display panel (2) by the backlight module (3) is converted to polarized light within the display panel (2). The reflective nano-grating (6) is used to reflect at least a portion of the polarized light emitted thereto back to the backlight module (3) for reuse.
