Abstract:
In a display area of an organic EL display device, scanning lines SCAN, data lines DATA that cross the scanning lines SCAN, initialization lines INI, sub-pixel circuits provided to correspond to intersection points of the scanning lines SCAN and the data lines DATA, and organic EL elements OLED provided to correspond to the sub-pixel circuits are provided in a matrix. The sub-pixel circuit includes a driving transistor M2, a writing transistor M1 that connects the data line DATA and the driving transistor M2, a capacitor C1 that is connected to the driving transistor M2 and holds a data signal, and a diode-connected transistor M4 and an initialization transistor M3 that are connected between the driving transistor M2 and the initialization line INI.
