Abstract:
The present invention achieves a display device that makes it possible to enhance the refresh rate while suppressing increases in the area of a frame and decreases in reliability. First and third writing control circuits for driving each of even-numbered writing control lines and oddly-numbered writing control lines and a first initialization control circuit for driving even-numbered initialization control lines are arranged in a first frame area, and second and fourth writing control circuits for driving each of even-numbered writing control lines and oddly-numbered writing control lines and a second initialization control circuit for driving odd-numbered initialization control lines are arranged in a second frame area. LTPS-TFTs are used for all of the transistors included in a first unit circuit within a shift register for realizing each of the writing control circuits. A second unit circuit within a shift register for realizing each of the initialization control circuits has a latch function and drives the initialization control lines on the basis of a value held internally.
