Abstract:
This display device DSP has: a video light source unit VLS that emits video light VL; a screen unit SCR comprising a projection surface SCf on which the video light VL is projected; a control circuit CVL that controls the operation of the video light source unit VLS; and a control circuit CSC that controls the visible light reflectance of the screen unit SCR. The screen unit SCR comprises a plurality of pixels. While synchronized with the control circuit CVL, the control circuit CSC is capable of selectively changing the visible light reflectances of each of the plurality of pixels.
