Abstract:
This display device comprises: a light source; and a transparent and flat plate-shaped light guide, into which light emitted from the light source enters from a first side surface of the light guide. The light guide has, at each of a plurality of positions corresponding to a plurality of symbols, a reflective part formed by a plurality of reflective surfaces inclined relative to a bottom surface. Each of the plurality of reflective parts reflects, by means of the plurality of reflective surfaces, the light that has entered from the first side surface to thereby display a plurality of symbols on a display surface. The reflective parts are configured so that the angle of inclination of the reflective surfaces is smaller relative to the bottom surface, the closer the reflective parts are to the light source.
