Abstract:
A display and input device configured from a touch panel (1) for image display and for input; a proximity sensor (12) located to be opposed to the touch panel (1) for contactless detection of the movement of a detection target; and a control unit (3) which processes an image outside a predetermined range of a display area near the detection target in the touch panel (1), and displays the image outside the predetermined range to be distinguishable from an image within the predetermined range of the display area, when the proximity sensor (12) detects that the detection target is within a predetermined close distance to the touch panel (1).
