Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to realize a display method which makes it difficult for a user to identify a reduction in luminance of a display screen. Provided is a display method for a display device (1), the method comprising monotonously reducing maximum luminance at a position in a direction from the center (o) of the screen toward the surroundings, wherein, in the vertical direction toward the screen with respect to the horizontal direction toward the screen, the starting position of the reduction of the maximum luminance of the screen is a position equal to or near to the center of the screen, or the maximum luminance of the screen in the outermost periphery of the user's field of view is low.
