Abstract:
The present application provides a display method and an electronic device, and relates to the technical field of terminals. In the present application, a graphic layer for displaying an application icon dynamic effect can be created, and the application icon dynamic effect and a window dynamic effect are controlled by means of a window management service, thereby ensuring the display effect of an application starting dynamic effect, preventing lagging abnormalities from occurring, and improving the use experience for users. The method comprises: once an application start instruction is received, creating a first graphic layer used for displaying an application icon dynamic effect, and displaying the application icon dynamic effect on the basis of the first graphic layer; and acquiring window information corresponding to an application, and displaying a window dynamic effect, the first graphic layer being a graphic layer corresponding to a window of the application, or the window information comprising a second graphic layer corresponding to the window of the application, and the first graphic layer being located below the second graphic layer.
