Abstract:
A display module and a display apparatus. The display module comprises a display panel (200) and a light control panel (100) which are arranged in a stacked manner. The light control panel (100) is provided with a dimming area (Q11) and a peripheral area (Q12) surrounding the dimming area (Q11). The light control panel (100) comprises: a first substrate and a second substrate which are arranged opposite each other, and a first liquid crystal layer (30) arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the first substrate comprises: a first base (11), and a signal transmission line which is arranged on the side of the first substrate (11) close to the first liquid crystal layer (30) and is located in the peripheral area (Q12); and the second substrate comprises: a second base (21), and a first black matrix layer (BM1) which is arranged on the side of the second base (21) close to the first liquid crystal layer (30) and is located in the dimming area (Q11) and the peripheral area (Q12), the first black matrix layer (BM1) being provided with a slot (300) located in the peripheral area, and an orthographic projection of at least part of the slot (300) on the first substrate (11) being located on the side, close to the dimming area (Q11), of an orthographic projection of the signal transmission line on the first substrate (11). The display apparatus comprises the display module. The problem of a bright line appearing on the edge when the display module is turned off is prevented.
