A display panel having a plurality of subpixels(Sp) is provided. The display panel includes: a base substrate (10); a plurality of light emitting elements(LE) on the base substrate (10); and a quantum dot laye (20) on a side of the plurality of light emitting elements (LE) away from the base substrate (10). A respective one of the plurality of light emitting elements(LE) includes a first light emitting layer (EM1) and a second light emitting layer (EM2) sequentially stacked. The first light emitting layer (EM1) is configured to emit a first light of a first wavelength range. The second light emitting layer (EM2) is configured to emit a second light of a second wavelength range. The plurality of light emitting elements (LE) are configured to respectively emit a composite light. The quantum dot blocks (20a,20b,20c) of different colors are configured to respectively convert the composite light into light of different colors respectively in different subpixels.
