Abstract:
Provided are a display panel and a display apparatus. The display panel comprises: a plurality of sub-pixels, which are arranged in a display area; at least one barrier dam, which is arranged in a peripheral area; a first electrode layer, which is arranged on a base substrate; a pixel defining layer, which is arranged on the side of the first electrode layer away from the base substrate; a spacer layer, which is arranged on the side of the pixel defining layer away from the base substrate; and a packaging structure, which is arranged on the side of the spacer layer away from the base substrate, and comprises a first packaging layer, a second packaging layer and a third packaging layer. The display panel comprises a plurality of spacers, which are located in the spacer layer, and comprise a first spacer located in the peripheral area, wherein among the plurality of spacers, the first spacer is located at the position furthest from the center of the display area; the second packaging layer comprises a boundary located on the side of the second packaging layer away from the display area; an orthographic projection of the boundary of the second packaging layer on the base substrate is located on a side of an orthographic projection of the at least one barrier dam on the base substrate, which side is close to the display area, and an orthographic projection of the first spacer on the base substrate is located on a side of an orthographic projection of the boundary of the second packaging layer on the base substrate, which side is close to the display area.
