Abstract:
A display panel, comprising a substrate (1). A display area (11) and a non-display area (12) are formed on the substrate (1); one side of the non-display area (12) is provided with metal wiring to electrically connect an integrated circuit in the non-display area (12) to an external structure (D) integrated with a drive IC, so that the integrated circuit in the non-display area (12) is driven by the external structure (D) integrated with the drive IC to illuminate the display area (11). By bonding the drive IC onto the external structure (D), the area of a bounding area of the drive IC on the display panel is reduced to increase a screen-to-body ratio of the display panel.
