Abstract:
The present application discloses a display panel and an electronic device comprising the display panel. The display panel comprises: a first substrate; a first electrode layer located on one side of the first substrate; and a cathode layer located on the side of the first electrode layer away from the first substrate, wherein the cathode layer covers a display region of the display panel and extends to a bezel region of the display panel; part of the first electrode layer is located in the display region of the display panel and forms a parallel connection with the part of the cathode layer located in the display region, and part is located in the bezel region of the display panel and forms a parallel connection with the part of the cathode layer located in the bezel region. Therefore, the resistance of the part of the cathode layer located in the display region is reduced by forming a parallel connection the part of the first electrode layer with the part of the cathode layer located in the display region, thereby reducing the voltage difference between the part of the cathode layer close to a signal input end thereof and the part far away from the signal input end thereof, alleviating unevenness in the display brightness of the display panel caused by a large voltage difference between different regions of the cathode layer located in the display region, and improving the display quality of the display panel.
