Abstract:
This invention provides a display-protecting film that is easy to accurately and smoothly apply to a display region of a display. An adhesion member (114) that is separably adhered to a display (1) is affixed to part of a separable film layer (112), and said adhesion member (114) is provided with protruding parts (115) that protrude past the surface (114a) of the adhesion member (114). By applying pressure to a base film layer (111) in the direction of the display (1) with the protruding parts (115) abutting against the display (1), the surface (114a) of the adhesion member (114) is made to contact and adhere to the display (1). While positioning this protective film (101), the protruding parts (115) prevent the surface (114a) of the adhesion member (114) from adhering to the display (1), and the adhesion member (114) can be removed at the same time that the separable film layer (112) is separated.
