Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a display substrate and a display apparatus. The display substrate comprises a middle display region, and a first peripheral display region and second peripheral display region which are located on two opposite sides of the middle display region. Each pixel unit in the display regions comprises at least two sub-pixels that emit light of different colors. The opening shape of the sub-pixels is rectangular, comprising long sides and short sides. In at least one region among the first peripheral display region and the second peripheral display region, and in the middle display region, sub-pixels in each pixel unit are arranged in sequence along the extension direction of the short sides of the sub-pixels. The extension direction of the first peripheral display region and the second peripheral display region is perpendicular to the extension direction of the short sides of the sub-pixels in the middle display region, and the extension direction of the short sides of the sub-pixels is perpendicular to the extension direction of the short sides of the sub-pixels in the middle display region. The display substrate and the display apparatus of the present disclosure are able to improve the problem of rainbow patterns on the edge of narrow-bezel products and improve product quality.
