The present disclosure provides a display substrate and a display device. The display substrate comprises a substrate and a plurality of pixel units located on the substrate, each pixel unit comprises a plurality of sub-pixels, the pixel units comprise target pixel units, each the target pixel unit comprises a target sub-pixel, the target sub-pixel comprises a pixel driving circuit and a light-emitting unit capable of emitting light under the driving of the pixel driving circuit, the target sub-pixel further comprises a photoresistor, the photoresistor is electrically connected to the pixel driving circuit, and the resistance value of the photoresistor increases with the decrease of illumination intensity. The pixel driving circuit of the present disclosure comprises the photoresistor, the resistance value of the photoresistor decreases with the increase of illumination intensity, and as the luminous efficiencies of the sub-pixels of different colors at different brightnesses are different, by providing the photoresistor to provide different resistance values under different brightness conditions, the adjustment of the resistance is realized, helping to balance the luminous efficiencies of the sub-pixels of different colors under different brightnesses, thereby helping to improve the display effect.
