Abstract:
Provided in the present disclosure are a display substrate, a preparation method therefor, and a display apparatus. The display substrate comprises a plurality of subpixel units located on a base substrate layer and in an array distribution; each subpixel unit comprises a light propagation unit located at one side of a light emission unit; each light propagation unit comprises a first medium structure and a second medium structure, an orthographic projection of the first medium structure at least partially overlaps with an orthographic projection of a light emission unit, and the second medium structure is arranged as in contact with at least one side of the first medium structure in a direction parallel to a plane occupied by the base substrate layer; a first refractive index of the first medium structure is greater than a second refractive index of a second medium structure; a first included angle between a bottom edge and a diagonal of a first cross section of the first medium structure is equal to a total reflection angle of a contact surface of the second medium structure and the first medium structure; and the first included angle is less than or equal to a preset angle, so as to cause light greater than or equal to a preset proportion of light among light entering from a bottom surface of the first medium structure to be able to emerge out from a top surface of the first medium structure.
