Abstract:
In a display system (10) according to an embodiment of the present invention, each of a plurality of display devices (100) receives, from a distribution device (200), a standard time packet (301) including data that specifies a standard time, a synchronization time packet (302) including data that specifies a synchronization time that is a time after the standard time and serves as a reference for synchronizing the plurality of display devices (100) with each other, and a video stream (304) including at least part of content data and data at a reproduction start time. Each of the plurality of display devices (100) uses the data at the standard time and/or the data at the synchronization time to calculate a current time and generate a vertical synchronization time (V) and a horizontal synchronization signal (H). At the reproduction start time, a video memory (103) outputs a video signal to a display panel (120) in response to the vertical synchronization signal (V) and the horizontal synchronization signal (H).
